Big news for the Devon property market

The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak has announced that the Stamp Duty Holiday for the sale of properties up to the value of £500,000 will be extended from 31st March, to the end of June 2021. What does "Probate" mean

When someone passes away, the person who applies for the right to deal with the deceased’s possessions and property has to “apply for probate”. If the person who died left a Will, then the person applying can be given a “grant of probate”. If someone has not left a Will, then a person gets “letters of administration”.
